Edda N o r e i a was born as Edda (Edeltraut) Steinwender in
Vienna, where also she grew up.

Even during her school-days she was intensive engaged in
literature and music.
(First literary publications in journals and magazines and first
performances in concerts).


After her graduation she studied foreign languages as
well as classic music (organ and opera singing).
Besides her translating and musical employments she also
published short stories and lyrics and various distinguished
radio places.

In these times she was cautious accompanied and advanced by
notable authors like Rudolf F e l m a y e r , Ernst
S c h ö n w i e s e and Herbert Z a n d.

Further publications (lyric and prose) are following in the
Austrian broadcasting as well as in numerous contributions
in journals, magazines and anthologies.

The Austrian author, who speaks several foreign languages,
lives since her marriage (1974) with the author and painter
Hans L e b e r t (died 1993) in Baden and Vienna, where she
is also engaged in teaching spiritual healing.
